So, its April Fools day. I thought about posting something on here that was fake, but I figured someone wouldn't get it, and I would have to explain it. So, instead go check out google.com and wikipedia.com. Just under the search box, google has a link to "New! Google Gulp" which is supposed to be some soft drink they developed. April Fools! On wikipedia, you can go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:BJAODN. If you scroll down, you'll see the nonsense thats been posted so far for April Fools 2005 - Including the news that Encyclopedia Britannica was planning to take over Wikipedia. When I first went to Wikipedia today, instead of saying "Today's Featured Article" it said "Today's Featured Nihilartikel", and the "recent articles" included Exploding Whale and Pet Skunk.

Last year, Google announced its 1GB email on April Fools day, and everyone thought it was a joke. This year they are announcing infinity+1 storage (which is really just starting out as 2GB of storage). But, its pretty neat. If you go to gmail.google.com, you'll see this counter indicating everyone's email storage going up. If you log in to your gmail account, you'll notice that your storage amount goes along with the counter. Just sit there and refresh, and you'll eventually see it go up. I'm guessing its timed to hit the 2GB mark at midnight. I guess at noon if my storage is up to 1.5GB we'll know.

(By the way, if anyone wants a gmail account, I've got 100 invites between 2 accounts, so just ask.)
