I LOVE Google.

I love Google. Its geek-dom gone mainstream. To understand this, you need to understand the power of Google. Go there and type in "12x13^14" and it will solve that equation for you. Or, type in "14ft to inches" and it will tell you how many inches are in 14 feet. So, its this nifty calculator thingy. They also just publicized their "google answers" feature a little more. If you type in "Who is Kermit The Frog?" google's first response describes a little of who Kermit is. Well, the reason I love Google, is because if you REALLY want to get geeky, type in "What is the answer to life, the universe, and everything?" Google will come back with their little calculator and tell you "The answer to life, the universe, and everything = 42."

If you don't get it.. well.. you aren't geeky enough then.

Also, the guys that started Google just cut their salaries down to one dollar a year.

(another interesting internet thing. Ted Drewes is in Wikipedia. How cool is that?)

Avatar ah yes, 42. that movie is coming out soon. i wonder if it'll be as good as the books. god i loved reading those books.

its too bad the earth got cleared in favor of an intersteller highway though. i would have liked to see our departure be a little more...um...shall we say...existential than it was.

Avatar Yeah, the movie is getting a much bigger budget than the original movie did, so hopefully it will do the book justice. It seems to me that it would be a difficult book to turn into a movie without looking corny.

Avatar Movie comes out on my birthday. Nile's also coming to STL that day, so I haven't decided which of the two I'm gonna go see.

Also, If I was worth a couple hundred million (or whatever obscene amount), I'd probably be ok with a one dollar annual salary too.

I'm a big fan of all the nifty things Google has come out with (maps in particular are very nice), but I think the quality of their actual search results has gone downhill in the last couple years, probably entirely because of googlebombing scum.

Avatar 7 billion. Thats the net worth number you were looking for. Per guy, I think - I think each is worth that amount, but I could be wrong.
