Avatar MusicMatch works well for Windows. Allows for really high bitrates, even the free version. I think it kinda takes over your pc a little though, so be forewarned.

Avatar Sorry dan, musicmatch sucks, unless you like crappy, error-prone rips.

Avatar off-topic question: What's the standard FTP client for a Mac? Is is there one that comes pre-loaded or do they have do download something? I'm needing to make a list of software for work...

Is anyone still looking at buying a Mini? I'm waiting for them to start shipping with OSX(Tiger).

Avatar the state of ftp clients on the mac is very sad. The Finder has a built-in ftp client, but it blows. OS X comes with a command-line client (lftp I think), but I don't think that's what you're looking for.

Right now there is no good freeware "Mac-like" ftp client for mac. One Button FTP hopes to change that, but it's alpha software. I use it all the time, but I wouldn't foist it on unsuspecting users quite yet.

There are a number of freeware ftp clients, but they all mostly suck. There are a number of good shareware clients, Transmit being my favorite.

The ftp client I use most regulary is ncftp, also a terminal app.

Sadly, I have no mini plans at the moment. We got a flatpanel iMac at work instead.
