New Toy!

It was a sad day when the harddrive died on my old 10gig iPod two weeks ago. I knew there was hope, as Apple was set to have some sort of iPod related event a mere one and a half weeks later. A stupid phone was a sure fire bet to be announced, but I was holding out hope they'd annouce price cuts on existing iPods... or announce something new.

As luck would have it, they announced the iPod nano. OOooooooooh shiney. Gots to get me one. So I did (woman = annoyed about that).

I fear change, so I got the 4gig white one, plus a 5-port USB 2.0 PCI card so I could actually, y'know, use it. (only twenty bucks, free shipping!).

Pictures don't really do justice as to just how small this thing is, but rest assured that "impossibly small" really is an accurate description.

Pictures in comments. But like I said, they really don't do justice, especially when you hold the old iPod in one hand and new iPod in the other. Crazy.

I second Stu on that. Pictures really do not do it justice. My boss at work got one last weekend and i saw it when he brought it in. Needless to say I was thoroughly impressed; may have to get meself one of those.
