Ebel, i don't know if you remember, but we were arguing over how much jim edmonds is making this year. i claimed $12 million...you said it was closer to $8 million. here's what the espn people have to say aboot it. According to this, I know what i'm talking about more than Ebel on a baseball related topic.

Yeah yeah yeah...

I believe I said he averaged closer to 8 (which is still inaccurate, it averaged a little over 9) on his deal...Didn't know it was quite so backweighted.

I just remember a couple years ago checking in and he made 8.

Lotta jack regardless.

Glad it's ending. It overall was a good contract, but now he's over the hill and in a decline that few players his age are able to really stave off that well (bond's steroids-induced freakism notwithstanding).

yeah, his hitting numbers have been deteriorating, but he's making errors in the OF this year too. blow.

well that is what happens when you get off the roids. I really believe that Jimmy was on roids.

My Kurt, you've changed your ways here...I remember a couple years ago (before the hearings and everything) having a hearty discussion with your on here where I was claiming Big Mac was using roids and you were defending him.

Any reason why you think jimmy was on the roids? I've heard speculation about lots of guys before, but not him...
